Meditation is a method to become familiar with inner peace. The peace is there, within us, waiting to be found; the way we find it is through consistently turning away from distractions and focusing inwards through regular meditation.
Happiness and suffering come from our mind, not from other people or circumstances. It is our mind that creates and appears every aspect of our life. When we recognize this, we’ll appreciate the power of meditation to heal ourselves and others at the very deepest levels.
During this special public talk Buddhist nun , Kelsang Kalden will explain how to begin a simple meditation practice for finding inner peace as well as how to deepen our experience of meditation until we realize our potential for permanent inner peace.
